As a consultant, Christien “CJ” Avant works with CapAcuity clients and intermediary partners, providing case development support for non-qualified plans. CJ assists with providing analysis and recommendations on overall plan design—as well as on key issues such as the management of on-balance-sheet benefit liabilities, and their funding and hedging strategies. His objective with all CapAcuity clients is to help improve overall financial performance and earnings impact.
Prior to CapAcuity, CJ developed a strong understanding of tax, legal, and financial regulations, first as a member of our Finance team, and previously as a reconciliation analyst with Alegeus Technologies, where he was responsible for general ledger activity, reporting, automation of account reconciliations, and the streamlining of reconciliation and operations processes.
CJ earned his bachelor’s of business administration, finance degree from the University of Central Florida. CJ also earned the Nonqualified Plan Consultant (NQPC) designation from the National Association of Plan Advisors (NAPA).
